Boja Fauss Arneis
Arneis is a grape variety native to Piedmont in northern Italy. The direct translation of Boja Fauss from Piedmontese is “false executioner”, but it is used as an exclamation akin to “goddammit!” — a remark likely used many times when cultivating Arneis, which translates from Piedmontese as “little rascal”.
This wine is 100% Arneis grown in Clevedon, Auckland.
The wine is clean, crisp, pure and refreshing, with a lovely mineral texture.
What does Boja Fauss Arneis taste like?
Boja Fauss Arneis is a fresh, lively and medium-bodied New Zealand white wine with peachy, lemony and slightly spicy flavours. It has good acidity, a dry finish and a lovely savoury, mineral edge.

Great wine. Smoky sea breeze and salted Margarita on the nose. Really comes together on the palate with a lovely texture and great freshness. Nutty, rounded, great acid. Cohesive.
4 Stars – Michael Cooper
Pale lemon/green, it is a fresh, lively, medium-bodied wine, with very good depth of peachy, lemony, slightly spicy flavours and a dry, persistent finish. Enjoyable young.
